Takes for Mac

Takes for Mac is a free, open-source Mac app for recording talking-head videos. It combines a voice-following teleprompter, one-button recording of camera and screen, and plain-folder storage for every take. With Claude Code on your own Claude plan, it can cut the edit, produce vertical versions, and draft posts for platforms like LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Shorts. You can leave notes on frames, and the app turns them into rules it remembers.
